Finished the Program...

Hello my friends,

Great news!  I finally got the Ph.D.  And, due to a unique qualification, I got a job (having two master's degrees came in handy after all).  So, in late July Genevieve and I will be moving to the lost coast of Northern California.  Please leave a comment or send an email so I may update you on our new address.

The latest batch of photos are a mix from last year and this.  Also, be sure to check out the older posts if you haven't seen them already.  You can click on images for more detail.  We wanted to share the garden with you as we will be leaving it behind and taking very few plants with us.

Peace,

Philip

You should all know that Ian Van Ornum, a University of Oregon student and protestor of the spraying of toxic (read: poisonous) chemicals on public forests was tazered right near this spot for his part in a public educational action intended to raise awareness about the spraying of pesticides (i.e., biocides) on forest land.  He was found guilty of disturbing the peace and resisting arrest even though the video of his arrest shows him cuffed and on the ground as the police administered not one, but two taser hits to his body.

Our garden, late May.

You treat me like daisies.

To give you an idea...

of how much rain we get around here.

Do look carefully...what do you see?
